I met up with a local pastor who is working with youth and college students. As we were talking, we got into the discussion about the need for more kingdom workers. Then it reminded me once again, the importance of constantly raising up new people in our ministry.
If we are serious about sending people out to plant churches and do missions, then we need to be just as committed in identifying and investing in new people.
It is always tempting to just settle for what we have in the present without looking into the future.
There needs to be a steady flow of new disciples that are being made in order for us to send out more people into the harvest field. This is what I get excited about and I am thankful that I can do this for the rest of my life. What a privilege!
