It is that time of the year again. A time where there are questions, complaints, loneliness, doubts, and the list goes on and on. Whenever February 14th is around the corner and the weather gets nicer, people begin to struggle with the topic of opposite sex relationships.
As I am seeing the younger generation in our church, I am noticing how ill-informed they are on the topic of relationships. The sad part is that we have all followed the world’s secular view on relationships. The number of advice, guidance, and instruction people receive from T.V. shows and movies on relationships is phenomenal.
We need to raise up more people who will go against the flow of the secular mindset of relationships. The reason why I am so passionate about this is that the topic of relationships is so universal. Wherever I go in my travels, I am amazed how this topic of relationships consumes the hearts of so many people whether they are high students, college students, or single adults regardless of the place or culture.
Then this got me thinking – “If this is a universal topic then this will be one major avenue to share the Gospel and demonstrate how Christ can really transform our lives.”
This is why we are starting this new relationship series at ACCESS called, “The Game.” In every game, there are players, rules, objectives, and a scoreboard. We will look into God’s playbook and see what He has to say about opposite-sex relationships and how we can succeed winning. You don’t want to miss it. Spread the word.
