Today after the 1st Sunday Celebration, one of the small groups in our church gathered Christina and me together to present us with a gift. They surprised us with two tickets to see the opera “The Marriage of Figaro” in the Detroit Opera House. I was so ecstatic! I LOVE opera.
I know how expensive opera performances can get therefore I was so encouraged to see college students pitching in to bless Christina and me to enjoy a night out together. It was very thoughtful of them.
But the best part was how each of the members in their small group wrote a personal note to us. As we were reading the notes together, I realized that nothing beats dedicating your life to seeing lives being transformed with the Gospel message.
