I was a bit bummed that I could not make it to the Praise Night yesterday. This was the first Praise Night in 10 years that I missed. After talking with one of the pastors, I heard it went well. I can’t wait to see it on DVD.
Sometimes I want to clone myself and have the ability to be at two places at once so that I don’t miss anything. The reality is we have to pick and choose, not because one is necessarily more important than another, but in various seasons in life certain things have to take priority.
In this season, my talk on relationships (1st one for HMCC of Chicago) took priority over Praise Night. I am hoping that a good foundation was laid for the purpose of marriage.
