It is interesting how the Apostle Paul uses the illustration of adoption when he describes our relationship with God, our Father (Eph 1:3-14).
There is something very powerful about knowing that you are chosen and loved unconditionally. This is part of the core of the Gospel message.
Sometimes through an earthly adoption, people are able to know the love of the Father. May our love for people overflow.
