I was ministered by the Holy Spirit with a quote that I read today. It is by George MacDonald (1824-1905) in his book, “Weighed and Wanting.” MacDonald said, “The principal part of faith is patience.”
One major weakness that I have is impatience. Since I am an ENTJ, according to the Myers-Briggs personality test (you can read up on my traits here), this is my fatal flaw.
Therefore, as I was reading this quote, it reminded me of how much I need to grow in the area of faith. Maybe if I focused on growing in faith, I can grow more in patience.
I need to stop trusting in my abilities and look to God more in everything that I do. Translation = I need to continue to grow in my prayer life. Lord help me.
