Sermon Series: “Contagious”

The American Heritage Dictionary defines, “contagious” as:

1) Transmissible by direct or indirect contact; communicable
2) Spreading or tending to spread from one to another; infectious

The early Church was contagious. All throughout the Book of Acts, we get a glimpse of what it was like for the early believers to live out their faith. In fact, we see that their experience with the resurrected Christ was so real and life-changing that they enjoyed the favor of all the people; and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved (Ac 2:47).

We want to see that kind of contagious faith and community in our church this coming year. Therefore, we are starting a 5-part series:

1) Part 1: The Power of the Supernatural
2) Part 2: The Power of a Testimony
3) Part 3: The Power of Purpose
4) Part 4: The Power of Community
5) Part 5: The Power of Service

It is my hope and prayer that as we experience transformation, we will become a contagious community where the world will see Christ in us. Then the message of the Gospel will continue to spread throughout the nations. We want God to first start the ripple effect with us here in Ann Arbor, then to the ends of the earth.
