Today, I had the opportunity to have dinner with the church planting team. It was great to reconnect with everyone. The dinner conversation covered everything from some personal experiences here in Indonesia to updating on the happenings in the various HMCC churches back in the States. Other conversations I am not permitted to mention in public 🙂
Then, we went to the house and I shared about the importance of loving the city that we are called to serve. We can stick around a place because of the local church, but we also need to see that God calls us to stay at a place because of our love for the people in that city. We spent the rest of the time praying for the “shalom” and the blessings of God in Karawaci, Jakarta, and all over Indonesia.
It has been encouraging to see God work powerfully in the lives of these members. I am seeing God move within their hearts, as they surrender themselves to His Sovereignty and Majesty. Since there were so many good testimonies, I thought it would be good if they shared from their own lips, as they give glory to God.
