Today is Veteran’s Day and a time to remember many of the men and women who have served in the armed forces. It is also a time to remember some of the people who are serving right now in Iraq and Afghanistan.
With some of our members serving in the military now and also with the loss of one of our members in the Iraq War, I am just reminded of the courage of the people who are serving in the military.
I am more thankful than ever that there were people who have gone before us to give us some of the privileges that we have in the United States. The sad part is that sometimes we take these things for granted.
It is my prayer that we will continue to raise up people in our generation who are men and women of courage, dedication and who have a love for country.
